DAY 1 - 3
Private transfer provided by ‘Discover Lanka’ from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to Kandy –the charming hill capital of Sri Lanka and the island’s second largest city. A spacious Honeymoon Suite and complimentary Honeymoon Package is included upon your arrival here.
The city of Kandy promises a number of tourist attractions that include the famous Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, Temple of Tooth that consists the sacred relic of Buddha’s tooth for which it is regarded as one of the most sacred places and theRoyal Palace of Kandy(Maligawa) - the residence of the Sinhalese monarchy.
DAY 4 - 6
We will then set off to Nuwara Eliya – a town in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, often referred by the tourists as ‘Little England’. Since the introduction of tea to Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya has been the capital of the tea industry. Get to know the roots of the freshest tea you are ever likely to drink in your life at the Labookelle Tea Center that offers guided tours of the tea factory.
You will find a variety of recreational activities to do in this beautiful city. Nuwara Eliya is known to have the best 18-hole golf course in Asia. A visit to the Horton Plains is vital -a national park located at the highest plateau in the island. The park is very famous among nature lovers. Also within Horton Plains is the World's End exhibiting an abrupt drop of 1000m offering a breath-taking view.
Nuwara Eliya is also home to some of the most amazing waterfalls such as Ramboda Falls, Devon Falls, and Laksapana Falls. Also Lake Gregory is one of the significant tourist attractions in Nuwara Eliya. It was built by the Governor William Gregory by utilizing the water from the Nanuoya which runs across the town.
DAY 7
From Nuwara Eliya we will then tour around Ella - a picturesque hill sidenestled in the middle of tea plantations. Ella’s best known tourist attraction are the Ella Gap, Ravana Ella Falls, Little Adam's Peak among the other many varied pleasant walks with breathtaking views of rocks , falls and endless hills.
DAY 8
Our next stop will befor the wildlife enthusiasts in Yala - a land not only of magnificent wildlife but also of amazing landscapes, beautiful lakes and a tropical coastline. Yala plays a very significant role in conservation of a large number of flora and fauna in the country.Yala National Park is one of Sri Lanka 's premier eco-tourism destinationsrenowned for the variety of its Wildlife.
DAY 9 - 10
We will then travel to Unawatuna - a coastal village in Galle district South of Sri Lanka and a major tourist attraction for its beautiful golden beaches. Claimed to be one of the best beaches in the world, Unawatuna waters are rich in coral reef, tropical fish and turtles. Unawatuna is very famous among tourists for the opportunities of scuba diving and snorkeling.
Whale watching in Mirissa is another exciting activity one will not want to miss where both whales and dolphins flock.The most enthralling fact would be the presence blue whales - the largest species of whale.Unawatuna is also home to the House of Buddha, Swethamalee Chaitiya and abundant in colonial history and constructions. The Galle Fort is a major tourist attraction that carries important archeological reserves and cultural heritage. This museum is rich in classic paintings, images and furniture’s of the old refurbished Dutch Church.
DAY 11
The final stop will be in Colombo - the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka. Taking a tour around this diverse and interesting city is really a fascinating experience.One of the main attractions in Colombo is the National Museum of Colombo. The museum holds many artifacts from different eras of much importance to Sri lanka. Galle Face Green is a magnificent place to witness a marvelous sun set over Sri lanka. Travellers always enjoys and cherish an evening by the Gall face green.
Independence hall is also one of Colombo’s many landmarks to be discovered. Independence memorial Hall located at the Independence square is a Sri Lankan Heritage site. This hall was built to commemorate the victory gained from the British rule in 1948.From Colombo you will be transferred and escorted to the airport for your flight.
