DAY 1
Private transfer provided by ‘Discover Lanka’ from Bandaranaike International Airport(BIA) to Negombo – an iconic travel destination and a sensual paradise for sea food lover’s. A spacious Honeymoon Suite and complimentary Honeymoon Package is included upon your arrival here.
DAY 2 - 3
Travelling from Negombo to the historical Sigiriya -the premier eco-tourism destination of Sri Lanka which was designated by UNESCOas a cultural World Heritage Site.
Called by many names including ‘The Lion Rock’ and ‘Palace and Fortress in the sky’, Sigiriya is near the town of Dambulla and is a colossal column of rock nearly 200m highbuilt by King Kassapa. The murals are probably Sigiriya’s most popular attraction. The whole face of the wall has been used as a picture gallery which to this day have been preserved.The Sigiriya complex is also considered as one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning. The fortress is outlined with beautifully and elaborately landscapes, tanks and structures.
The journey to Sigiriya will be via Habarana– A town uniquely located right in the center of the Cultural Triangle - Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Kandy.Habarana is a popular tourist destination for wildlife lovers, to name a few - Safari’s start off at the Habarana Jungle, Minneriya Sanctuary is heavily populated by elephants and Kaudulla National Parkhad the exceptionally best observance for wildlife.
DAY 4 - 5
We will then travel to Kandy - the most beautiful cities of Sri Lanka renowned for its picturesque beauty and rich cultural value.You will be part of a group of which you may participate as much as you’d like in the daily excursions offered to our guests.The journey to Kandy will be via Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – a sanctuary for wild asian elephantsin a natural habitat, where one can interact during the regulated bathing and feeding times.
The city of Kandy promises a number of tourist attractions that include the famous Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, Temple of Tooth that consists the sacred relic of Buddha’s tooth for which it is regarded as one of the most sacred places and theRoyal Palace of Kandy(Maligawa) - the residence of the Sinhalese monarchy.
DAY 6 - 8
From kandy we will journey to Nuwara Eliya – a town in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, often referred by the tourists as ‘Little England’. Since the introduction of tea to Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya has been the capital of the tea industry. Get to know the roots of the freshest tea you are ever likely to drink in your life at the Labookelle Tea Centerthat offers guided tours of the tea factory.
You will find a variety of recreational activities to do in this beautiful city. Nuwara Eliya is known to have the best 18-hole golf course in Asia. A visit to the Horton Plains is vital -a national park located at the highest plateau in the island. The park is very famous among nature lovers. Also within Horton Plains is the World's End exhibiting an abrupt drop of 1000m offering a breath-taking view.
Nuwara Eliya is also home to some of the most amazing waterfalls such as Ramboda Falls, Devon Falls, and Laksapana Falls. Also Lake Gregory is one of the significant tourist attractions in Nuwara Eliya. It was built by the Governor William Gregory by utilizing the water from the Nanuoya which runs across the town.
From Nuwara Eliya we will then tour around Ella - a picturesque hill sidenestled in the middle of tea plantations. Ella’s best known tourist attraction are the Ella Gap, Ravana Ella Falls, Little Adam's Peak among the other many varied pleasant walks with breathtaking views of rocks , falls and endless hills.
DAY 7 - 9
Our next stop will be at Bentota - the coastal city famous for golden beaches. This town is a popular tourist attraction with the lovely tropical beaches making it ideal for a perfect beach holiday with the sun and sand. Apart fromthe stunning views of the sea, one can also enjoy some exciting water sports at Bentota beach. The Turtle Hatchery Project at Bentota Beach is an important attraction.
These turtle hatcheries were constructed to rescue and protect turtle eggs because of the rapidly declining numbers of marine turtle in Sri Lankan. The turtles are allowed to hatch and thrive in a protected area before being set free. A visit to the turtle hatchery is a must for nature lovers and you too can be a part of this project by releasing baby turtles into the ocean, where they belong.
DAY 10 - 11
The final stop of this tour will be in Colombo - the commercial and business center of Sri Lanka.Taking a tour around this diverse and interesting city is really a fascinating experience.One of the main attractions in Colombo is the National Museum of Colombo. The museum holds many artifacts from different eras of much importance to Sri lanka.Galle Face Green is a magnificent place to witness a marvelous sun set over Sri lanka.
Travellers always enjoys and cherish an evening by the Gall face green. Independence hall is also one of Colombo’s many landmarks to be discovered. Independence memorial Hall located at the Independence square is a Sri Lankan Heritage site. This hall was built to commemorate the victory gained from the British rule in 1948.From Colombo you will be transferred and escorted to the airport for your flight.
